The original digital design for the pyro pack, as created by Scott Summit, of Summit ID. The show's producers had put out a call for expert industrial designers to help them with the concept and specifications for the pack, and Summit's focus on digital design research met their needs. Many of the show's episodes involve the participation of outside experts who then become major participants in their corresponding episode.
Summit said he was very happy with the final pyro pack product, explaining that it came out almost exactly as designed.
