Two prominent members of Congress are urging cable operator Charter Communications not to move forward on plans to track consumers' browsing and serve up tailored ads. CNET News.com reporter Declan McCullagh talks to News.com's Leslie Katz about why they're concerned.

Pittsburgh, known as the Steel City, is taking some big steps toward becoming green. News.com's Kara Tsuboi visited the city's environmentally friendly convention center and she talks about what she saw.

Plus, Hewlett-Packard says it will launch a fall line of teen-designed consumer electronics, and some users of Microsoft Vista Media Centers this week found themselves blocked from viewing a couple of NBC shows. The Electronic Frontier Foundation says it's now looking into it.
