Podcast: The iPhone news you didn't hear Monday

We all heard plenty about the new iPhone 3G on Monday. But one of the stories that didn't get quite as many headlines is a change in the relationship between AT&T and Apple.

CNET News.com reporters Tom Krazit and Marguerite Reardon talk to podcast host Jennifer Guevin about what the changes mean for the two companies--and for consumers thinking about taking the iPhone plunge.

Hewlett-Packard took the wraps off 50 new products Tuesday in the largest product refresh in the history of the company's Personal Systems Group. The announcements include updates to the company's Touchsmart all-in-one desktop; commercial and consumer notebooks; and two machines in its high-end gaming brand, Voodoo PC.

More people are running their old cars on vegetable oil these days. But why don't the restaurants producing the greasy stuff make use of it themselves? A company called Owl Power is wondering just that. It's come up with a contraption called the Vegawatt, which converts waste fry grease into electricity that can help power a restaurant.
