  FINALLY, SONY did it right...FINALLY!!!!!

  Pros: Great fit, extremely lightweight, crisp sound, good design, and best of all, it doesn't fall out of my ears!

  Summary: alright folks, I must have gone through 10 different sony "workout" designed headphones over the course of the past fifteen years before coming across this one. I have to hand it to SONY on this one. Not only was this one affordable, but it met every expectation of mine for a workout headphone.
  
  This is obviously different from the earphones that simply wrap around your ear (and then fall off after the first 3 steps in your jog), or the in-ear designs (that fall out of your ear and end up dangling against your chest or workout equipment). With this new spiral design, it makes sure that the earphones are pressed against your head with no chance of it falling out of your ear (this has been the biggest pet-peeve of mine)
  
  The sound quality is pretty good. I'm not an over-the-top f-ing audiophile or anything, but I will have to admit the sound is very clear and crisp, even at the loudest setting of my iPod nano. (I hate it when some earphones output distorted sound when the volume gets to be too much)
  
  In conclusion, I've found my one and only workout pair of earphones and won't be replacing this one any time soon.

  Solid Sound and VERY well thought out

  Summary: Absolutely great for running and working out. Provided my first and only completely unincumbered run with tunes (no cord bouncing, buds falling out, cord tugs, etc.). I read one reviewer that had bass and other sound issues. I assume they didn't realize or understand that these are ear buds and have to be inserted in the ear as such.

  Excellent product, great sound, very comfortable

  Pros: Great frequency response, including bass. Very comfortable. The head strap keeps them from falling out, while maintaining a snug fit which is critical for ear buds. Some level of noise attenuation as well.

  Cons: Sound lacks some definition, but that's comparing them to the Shure E3s, which is unfair because those cost $150+. Need to make sure you use the correct size tip on the earbud. If the sound is lacking bass you may need to use a bigger tip.

  Summary: You can get excellent bass response from these if you use the right size tip, and if the buds are snug in your ears. I found that by lowering the band on the back of my head so that it crosses close the lower part of my head the buds are rotated into my ears, causing a tight fit and producing plenty of bass. I suspect the reviews submited complaining about poor bass response are simply fit problems. Overall this is an excellent product. I could not believe the sound and fit, especially for the price. I'm a musician and I've tried many different types of headphones and ear buds. The Shure E3s sound clearer, but they have little bass and will not stay in while working out. These are excellent for active use including running and gym, and they sound great too.

  Sony forgot the bass

  Pros: perfect fit for me right away; highs sound better than stock iPod ear buds

  Cons: Bass far worse than my stock iPod ear buds & Sennheiser MX75's. Did Sony check the sound of this model when making them? Similar priced in-ear buds had better bass than these, too.

  Summary: Headphone fit is SO personal, so take this with a grain of salt, but... this design was a disaster for me. The behind-the-neck wire element was in constant contact with my neck, the problem being that during exercise, every bit of contact translated to noise within the system. The cable picks up on the vibrations and translates it into sound. Really bad for exercise. And why have the wire twisted and shaped that way? There are headphones with stiff behind-the-neck supports that make little or no contact and therefore sound and feel MUCH better. I have a real feeling that most people who review these items don't actually exercise, because I cannot imagine this design working well for anyone under real moving exertion.
  
  BTW, I have tried EVERYTHING. Here are my favorite two, by far, and one of them is a behind-the-neck unit that you can get for less than $18 and sounds great:
  
  1. Sennheiser MX-75 Sport. Very innovative design, snug snug fit once you figure it out, very good sound. These things will not fall out and feel fine. Hate the green cord? Get over it, gym rat.
  
  2. Philips SHS8200/37 Compact Foldable Behind-The-Head Headphone. Get these online for around $18 or less. Sound great, SUPER COMFORTABLE fit and silky material that is so smooth. These vastly outperform the Sony's...

  Summary: The tension on the neckband is pretty much set and that means that if you have a small head and tiny ears, all you feel is the tension wanting to pull the headphones off you. also, one side tends to pull out of small ear canals regardless of the size of the fittings you use, and the neckband sticks way out on either side of your head looking rather ridiculous. Also, the cable sticks UP from the channel in the neckband instead of DOWN toward your music player.

  Good Fit Lacking Sound Quality

  Pros: Doesn't feel like I have headphones on. Looks good. Handy travel case. Wire clip is very helpful.

  Could not get the earphones to sit correctly in my ear

  Pros: I like the casing and they definitly have a cool look to them.

  Cons: I have a big head, I wear a 7 5/8 hat and I just can't get the earphones to stay in the correct position. I wedge them in and then I move and the earphones more and you just don't get the same quality sound if they are not in the correct position.

  Summary: I defintly like the casing that they come it. It's a nice hard case and it comes with different sized ear buds which allows you to customize them to fit into your ears. But I don't know what it is, I wedge them into my ear and the quality is fantastic. I move and then the earphones move. Not what I would expect from sport headphones. And when the earphones move out of postion, the sound quality drops dramatically. It might be because I have a large head (7 5/8 cap) but I don't know. Just beware when buying these headphones.

  Pros: I usually cannot find any type of earbud headphones that actually stay in my ear. However, the fit on these is superb. They do not budge.

  Cons: Too bad Sony forgot the most important thing: Decent sound. I mean the earphones that came with my S series walkman are way better.

  Summary: I can't believe I spent 65$ for these crappy sounding headphones. I also can't believe they won the editor's choice award.

  Great value and good sound... nice design

  Pros: -Sound is very good
  -Nice plastic case
  -Great for jogging and running
  -Great fit*
  -Lightweight

  Cons: -*not for everybody's head
  -little bass (though great sound overall)
  -must use the clip for running.... (if not it will tend to loose from the ear)
  -time consuming while putting it in and out of the case

  The cord is long so it wont get tension with the player on my pants pockets....
  
  Really worth the price.... Just if you get the chance try them on a local store before buying cause the design wont fit everyone's head/ears
